About me
I am a PhD student in the Faculty of Education at the University of Canberra, Australia, and a university lecturer at the State Islamic University of Mataram (UIN Mataram), Indonesia. My research focuses on L2 writing, flipped classrooms, student engagement, and EFL teacher education, particularly in Indonesian pre-service teacher contexts.I began my career as an English language teacher before completing a Master of TESOL at Flinders University through an Australia Awards Scholarship. I joined UIN Mataram in 2016, where I have taught English writing and technology-enhanced language learning.In 2022, I founded TESLA Language Institute in Lombok, Indonesia, which is now affiliated with IDP Jakarta for computer-delivered IELTS.My broader interests include L2 writing pedagogy, flipped learning, technology and AI in language education, IELTS preparation, and English language teacher education. I am always happy to connect with and learn from fellow L2 writing researchers, teachers, and practitioners.
