This study examined learners’ experiences with two ChatGPT-mediated writing activities in an intermediate L2 Spanish course: sentence-level corrective feedback and interactive written role-play. Interviews indicated that feedback supported accuracy and revision, while role-play promoted sustained interaction and contextualized language use. Students valued immediacy and adaptability but noted occasional feedback inconsistencies.
